HEXAPORINE

Dietary preparation that normalizes the flow of fluids

The water channels

The water from the blood and lymph circulations is distributed to all the tissues and cells of the body via transmembrane proteins known as water channels. A water channel consists of a protein with six domains, known as an aquaporin. Among the hormones that regulate water channel function, aldosterone plays a major role. Other physiological substances can interfere with water channel function. At certain concentrations, oestradiol inhibits the expression of the water channels leading either to water retention or dehydration. HEXAPORINE regulates their function by maintaining their expression at the appropriate level for requirements.

PROPERTIES

HEXAPORINE is a composition containing Punica granatum (pomegranate extract), a fruit that maintains a high water content even at high temperatures. HEXAPORINE has the effect of protecting the water channels against being blocked by any other substances of either endogenous or exogenous origin, thus promoting the free passage of water. «In vitro», in cell cultures, HEXAPORINE can block the effects of some endogenous substances such as estradiol, which are able to reduce the expression of the water channels, particularly during the ovulation peak. HEXAPORINE has the property of restoring the level of expression of the aquaporines when they have been damaged by time-related ageing. The role of the aquaporines in the blood and on erythrocyte function, is considerable, not only in maintaining the structure of the cells, but also within the vessels, in regulating blood pressure. The water channels also have a role in the kidneys and intestine. Many disorders of water transit are manifested as disturbances of intestinal transit.

COMPOSITION

Of one tablet: Total dietary extract of Punica granatum (CAE TM ) 5 mg .
Ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, Punica granatum extract.
Technological adjuvants: mannitol, colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, talc. Dietary preparation normalizes the flow of fluidsHEXAPORINE tablets

FORM and PRESENTATION

Packs of 60 tablets. Code ACL 4294228

INDICATIONS

Regulation of the distribution of water within the tissues and cells. HEXAPORINE is particularly useful if a water imbalance has developed that is linked to:

  • changes in the hormonal balance,
  • changes in temperature,
  • changes in pressure: prolonged standing or sitting posture, air travel,
  • any situations leading to changes in hydration,
  • chronological ageing, and the accumulation of substances that interfere with the function of the aquaporines,
  • dietary disturbances: excess intake of salty or sugary foods or alcohol.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

HEXAPORINE is usually taken at a dose of 1 tablet in the morning and evening before meals. The duration of administration depends on the physiological context, from a few weeks for a transient phenomenon, up to several months if necessary. This dietary preparation should be used as part of a varied and balanced diet. NOTE: To the best of our current knowledge, no adverse events have been reported in connection with consuming HEXAPORINE in the diet. The irregular colour of the tablets is related to the fact that no colouring agent is used during the manufacturing process, ensuring that the preparation is 100% natural.
